For two decades now organist Velin ILIEV has established and developed the organ art in Bulgaria. A magnificent interpreter of old and contemporary music, in his CD he presents several different organ schools and styles, starting with Clerambault's Suite du deuxieme ton, through Bach, Cesar Franck (19th c.), to Lionel Rogg, Professor at the Geneva Conservatoire, author of instrumental and choral music. Velin Iliev made the recordings in Sofia, Varna and Dobrich where the famous German Schuke Orgelbau Factory built organs in Bulgaria Concert Hall, in the Festival and Congress Centre - Varna and the Concert Hall in Dobrich, respectively. Thus the 1970 saw the revival of interest towards the organ, an instrument which is not so characteristic of the Eastern Slavs and the East Orthodox religion. Together with some of his colleague-organists Velin Iliev laid the foundations of the Bulgarian organ school this attaining a great objective - to bring closer the Bulgarian music lovers to the values of old organ music tradition. In the course of several seasons he organised the extensive series "Ogran Metamorphoses" through which he popularised works by composers completely unknown to the Bulgarian audience. The series embraced four centuries and dozens of authors, whose music Iliev performs with his innate virtuosity, concentration, emotionality and intelligence. To these adds a rich sound imagination, demonstrated in the choice and combination of timbres and devices.

These are the standard abbreviations for the various
types of carriers. When you order an album you can choose
whether you want it on MC – audio cassette, CD – compact
disc, DVD – DVD disc, VCD – video compact disc or VHS
– video cassette PAL format.
Are DVDs compatible with US standards?
Yes, they are. DVDs are in PAL format but they can be
played without any problems on NTSC TV systems as long
as the DVD player reads discs in PAL format. There are
compatibility problems in less than one percent of the
cases and they only arise on very cheap value line DVD-players.
Are DVDs region encoded?
Unless it is not specifically marked next to the DVD,
DVDs are not encoded and can be played on any DVD-player
irrespective of the region it is produced for.
Are the offered products authentic?
